J. BRYAN DAVIS

Born and raised in rural Montague County, Texas, I grew up on my family’s ranch, surrounded by horses, cattle, and farming. At age 16, I attended the Missouri Auction School in Kansas City. I later graduated from Era High School in Cooke County.

I attended Tarleton State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business in 1984. While in college, I paid my way primarily by working purebred cattle sales.

After graduation, I worked mainly in the livestock marketing industry, selling advertising and working auctions. In the late 1980s, I also spent four years serving as the County Extension Agent in Erath County.

​

In 1999, I obtained my Texas real estate license, followed by my broker’s license in 2001. At that time, I founded Ranch Realty Professionals Real Estate. Since 2002, I have owned and operated a real estate brokerage in Stephenville, and since 2005, my company has become a fixture in the real estate landscape of the Cross Timbers area and across the state, particularly in ranches and large-acreage properties.

Nothing gives me more satisfaction than helping buyers and sellers navigate real estate transactions involving the properties that best fit their goals. I believe I offer a unique combination of expertise that works hand in hand with my clients’ needs: real estate knowledge paired with real-world ranching savvy.

Making the move to Byrd Realty Group will allow me to spend more time with my wife, Mary Kay, of 40 years, as well as with our children and three grandchildren.
